He later became a significant member of the post-war abstract movement in Paris. \u003c\/span\u003eOf highlight is Audebes residency as a Professor at the Academie Frochot in Paris - host to a long line of well known artists. Audebe's work is a listed artist and frequently realized in auction houses today. This beautiful piece is a wonderful example of mid-century abstraction in Europe. This oil paint  on paper has a rich surface and textural impasto technique. The reverse  is signed and dated by the artist.
